No More Pie!

Thought I'd post parts of a recent assignment. The drawing had to be 2 people engaged in combat. And I am pretty certain Mr. Figglesbottom will not be patronizing Aunt Fanny's little pie shop any time in the near future. Attacking other customers for the last piece of cherry pie just isn't acceptable behavior. Hoping your Thanksgiving is filled with plenty of pie!

I love the looseness of sketching, Maybe it's the excitement of first getting that great idea down on paper. The reworking can even add character, with the imperfect lines. I can never seem to take a sketch to a final copy with the same carefree results. Frustrating. Maybe it takes practice?

Santa Claus is coming to town

Trying to sketch a few Christmas card ideas. I can see it in my head, hope I can get it to look somewhat close. Ignore the other face on the right. He was my first Santa on a motor scooter sketch.
