IF: Poise

I know this is a stretch but the only one with poise in this is the little blue birdie with the spinny hat. And this is one reason why I need Photoshop! The length is 19 inches, too long for my scanner (so here's the two halves plus the full length painting). Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to purchase it and begin learning. Is that the only way you can handle something this size?

Doodle A Day: Daydreaming Girl

This girl is part of an idea I have in my head. And I have changed my mind 25,000 times about how to approach the composition. I am trying to push myself to draw the situation and environment around the character more and it's driving me nuts trying to get this on paper. Then I have to tackle the painting. Hope I can get it to look right.

A Cheesy Bookcover

Just to play around I took a bit from a sketch I did earlier and tried a wet in wet technique. I suppose I got somewhat close to "cheese" but the holes could probably be darker against the yellow background. I uploaded it into a very simple software program I have to do the words since I don't own Photoshop yet.
