Memorial Day Weekend Doodling

My son is going to scout camp for the first time and will be gone for close to a week! (Hope I survive) He loves guinea pigs so I thought I'd come up with a guinea pig scout. He's all set for camp with his can of beans and s'mores ingredients. The other picture shows a couple of faces I sketched (he was originally going to be a mouse) before settling on this one. I'll be painting him later...

A piece I just finished...experimenting with skin tones and values. And...um...please excuse the freakish hands.
