Doing Digital

This is my second painting done in Painter. I like this one better than my first try. I used my 4X6 wacom tablet. I thought it would be really hard "drawing" with  the stylus on the surface while seeing the drawing on the monitor but it's actually not a problem. And is quite fun!

Beautifully done! Are you leaving the watercolors though? :0( That would make me so sad, you're so good at them.

Thanks everyone:)
Paige- Never! I'm just beginning to learn software, one day I hope to be decent. But I love traditional watercolors too much to retire my brush. And thanks for the compliment:)

this is so sweet! i am learning to paint digitally, too, with my wacom bamboo fun tablet. it's so cool! i love that it's so easy to change a color if i lay one down and decide i don't like it. i've been mostly scanning my drawings and then adding color in corel paint for mac, but i've done a few drawings right on the tablet, too.

the technology really is amazing. :)
