Final Color

For IF, Ham was just a beginner but with his polka-dotted float and trusty swim goggles taking a dip in the ocean would be a breeze.

Here's the final color for this little piggy at the beach. This one's done on cold press, rather than the hot press I've been using for the past couple of months. Boy, if you could combine hot press and cold press you'd have the perfect watercolor paper...

This is so much fun Christine, and I love his full swimming costume :oD

The bright of the sun works really well too. Thanks for sharing a larger image... be careful to add your copyright.

He's great. I love the bit of pudginess being pushed up by the rubber ring.

I think this is the first time I've seen you do an illustration with so much background. I love his pudginess and all the details... like the footprints in the sand!

I agree with you about hot/cold paper. This is really lovely. Love the light and shadows.

Thanks everyone!

Fixing that lacking copyright, June :) Thanks for watching out for me! And Bethany, yes this one does have more background. I am so lacking in environments I think because I get so wrapped up in the character maybe? I don't know but I should do more for sure.
