Happy Mother's Day! (uh...one week later.)

When pigs fly. Get it!?!

I wanted to design a card for my Mom this year but have been ridiculously swamped with all sorts of things. (Will it ever let up?)  Since she's a sweetie, she gave me permission to take the time to do so...and here it is! My Mom has always believed I can succeed in illustration (or whatever else!) with that kind of unwavering, solid support that we all need. Especially during times when we aren't so sure ourselves. Is there anyone better than your Mom? I think not. I'm tucking a little something inside for her, too. Thanks for your patience on this Mom!

Thank you everybody:) This was so much fun to design and paint. My Mom loved it and framed it. I drew on the outside of the envelope, too. Should've scanned that and posted. Hope it made the mailman smile!
