Photoshop

I get to cross logo off of my list ! Wahoooo! (scroll down for the finish) Opening an online shop has been in the works for quite some time and I needed to settle on a logo. I'm using 2 characters (including Ollie here) in packaging/branding. And I needed one simple image for the backs of cards, etc. I'm betting down the road, and as I learn more, Ollie will grow and change. And I'm giving myself permission to accept & allow that.  But what I really want to talk about a little is my friend, Photoshop. We did not get along at first and there was a time when I was sure I would NEVER speak to her again. But I came around and have taught myself a few small things. Like, for instance, taking the small scanned image you see in the corner (created on 140 lb. Arches with watercolor + micron pen) and turning it into the logo below. Super simple stuff. However, it took me a good while to figure it out. And I love to share information. It's how we all learn. So if anyone has any questions about how to go from here to there with something like this just leave me a comment. I'll be happy to answer in the simplest way possible. Cause that's how I roll. All simple. (Complicated gives me a big, fat headache.)
(note to self: fix that space between illustrated and nest in the web address....)

Another (small) note to self... centre the web addresses at the bottom as they are currently placed more to the left. :o)

But this as an absolutely wonderful header. Good luck with your shop. I shalll look forward to visiting.
