Black and white

A value study for a piece that will be in my portfolio. I didn't give it as much drying time between layers and had a heck of a time with watermarks. Found that big lovely splash on the umbrella this morning after heading to bed last night before it fully dried. No big deal, though. It's not the final. I like his little piggy footprints in the sand.
