IF: Resolve

In 2009 I resolve to 1) Spend time at my desk experimenting, learning, and not be afraid of messing things up (they're JUST paintings!) 2)Build my site using my Mac 3) Create 10 great pieces for my portfolio and experiment with concepts for licensing 4) Draw everyday 5)Purchase and learn Photoshop-I'm embarassed I don't already know this. 5) Buy a few books on my Amazon wishlist-I could read about illustration 24 hours a day. If only I had that kind of time...

What are your resolutions?

Good resolutions!
I've made a website for myself last year, it was a lot of learning, but I'm happy with it! I made about 10 sites since.

Dreamweaver is the best way to do it as far as I'm concern...

Hi Aya, I've heard good things about Dreamweaver. I wish I could afford it! One day:) Good job on completing so many sites!

Your work is very sweet and warm. I wish you the best of luck this year with your resolutions!!
Having a good background on web site design I second the previous post. Dreamweaver is the best!
You may be able to get a student discount for both Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

What a lovely illustration! I'm still learning PhotoShop, too! I could read about illustration for hours, too! Now why hasn't someone developed a job that would allow us to do that? :) Happy New Year and keep creating!

Your work is wonderful. So delicate and colorful. I love your desk. But... your list makes me feel totally guilty... It's almost identical to mine!!!

Great illustration! I love the detail.

My list is similar. I'd like to have more fun with my art, and market myself.

photoshop takes experimenting to see what options you like best. i dont use them all , all the time. i typically stick to the same for different projects.

Fantastic illustration! And I love how you sneaked in your little soldier guy one more time. Good luck with those resolutions. They sound great. Sigh, if only we had more time, eh?

Me, I'm going to study Illustrator. And maybe, just maybe, get my feet wet with watercolors.
